Anonymous: 'Smile + Adam Lambert' wouldn't even make the worst option! I'm sure John would like Adam Lambert, I think there must have been some sort of communication between them once. I personally think his voice is amazing and he can definitely pull off the flamboyant image and he did remind me of Freddie during the show, but not in a gimmick sort of way. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that Brian and Roger seem to like money a lot, which might not be the best motive to still tour and play.
That’s quite true, to be fair - Queen (or at least their label) have been releasing a lot of new merchandise and box sets/vinyl/etc in the past 24 months, such as Queen Forever, the Rainbow and so on. As for ticket pricings, I have no idea how much they are…. I’d just like to think that they have their fan’s best interests at heart, especially because the younger fanbase is quite large!
